IET is proud to announce a new product for CA Gen.

genIE is a new product from IET that enhances the action diagramming capability of CA Gen.

genIE Plug-in enhances the capabilities of the Gen toolset Action Diagrammer. It is accessed from the Gen toolset plug-in menu and provides a range of powerful functions and utilities that are all designed to improve developer productivity. Examples include tools for generating statements, calculate view sizes, re-order views, delete unused views, search for and replace text, change an action block's business system and more.

genIE Direct allows you to directly edit action diagrams on the encyclopaedia without requiring a download. It allows you to make simple changes to action diagrams and thus implement fixes rapidly without needing to download a subset. Examples include changing text & numeric values, view matching, copy & move statements, change view mapping, add, modify and delete views and cross-copy statements from other action diagrams.

genIE will be available for GuardIEn customers with Release 7.0 and for general download from the genIE Download page on 7th April 2005.
