xTrace Release 2.2 is now available for download from the IET web site.
Release 2.2 provides many enhancements covering improved usability, performance, additional types of breakpoints and new features, for example:
IMS Support
xTrace now supports tracing of IMS batch and server applications
Rollback at end of
Trace Session
A new feature in xTrace allows you to issue a database rollback at the end
of the transaction. This can be set to always rollback or ask for each transaction.
Performing a rollback ensures that changes to the database are not committed
and hence the test scripts can be run again without needing to reset test
data, which is especially useful in batch environments.
genIE
Interface
A genIE interface allows the direct launching of genIE direct from the xTrace
Monitor.
