Upload Assistant

The Upload Assistant simplifies creating upload tasks and managing GuardIEn Change Request content.

All of the steps required to perform and then verify the upload can be performed much faster and more accurately using the Upload Assistant.

The Upload Assistant automates the following steps:

1. Uploads changes from the toolset to the encyclopaedia, including creation of a task using the Task Assistant
2. Automatically detect new, changed and deleted objects and allocate them to a change request
3. Automatically assign new versions or revert the status of existing version back to the initial state for the environment
4. Automatically amend the action diagram change history NOTE statement to indicate that the AB/PROC was changed by this change request/user/date
5. Automatically keep a history of changes to an object at the statement / property level (minor versions) to provide a full audit trail of changes to an object
6. Detect new or changed OLE objects and create XOS objects for these objects
